Fun game so far, though I'm still trying to get through the flower jumping section. The music is beautiful and the graphics are minimalist, but very effective. The opening scene in particular leaves a great first impression. Two critiques I have so far: First, it took me a minute to realize at the very beginning that I could jump on the flowers. I wonder if there's a way to teach that a bit better? The jumping itself feels very heavy and jerky. That might be intentional for the difficulty, but it feels really counter to the music and the slowly falling and flying things in the background.

Thank you very much for the comment and for playing the game, you will probably have to add a text that says that you can jump on the flowers. I have modified the jump several times and with the beta testers we believe that it is balanced with respect to the difficulty, but if you are right that it is not "juicy", it would have to be improved in the future.

Thank you very much for the advice :)

Makes sense, and honestly the jumping wasn't as difficult with a bit of practice. It may have also helped that I'm not playing at 11 at night this time.

I just finished the game, and the only other critique I have is on the combat segment. The way the animation goes, it looks like you are only attacking during the initial slash, and that you're vulnerable afterward. In reality your attack is still happening until the character puts his sword away. I ended up dying quite a few times because I didn't realize that and retreated when I should have continued forward. It may be a good idea to make it more obvious that you're still attacking until the very end.

Other than that, I had quite a bit of fun with this once I figured out how everything worked. While each segment was a bit frustrating at the beginning, it felt good once I'd worked them out. I loved the atmosphere, and the sort of reverse telling of the story of why we're on the mountain was a nice touch.

Reading your comment makes me very happy, again, thanks for the advice and for taking the time to play it.

It is totally true that the dash does not indicate very well when the character is invulnerable, it would also have to be fixed.

Thank you!
